Man Jailed For Tattooing 3 Year Old Newphew

A New Mexico man has been sentenced to six months in federal prison for using homemade instruments to tattoo the letter "I" on the arm of his 3-year-old nephew.
Federal prosecutors say 29-year-old Cruz Tenorio of Kewa Pueblo was sentenced Tuesday. He must serve six months in a half-way house when
he's released from prison.
Tenorio must also pay restitution. Prosecutors say that will ensure the child has access to any needed medical or psychological services,
including the removal of the tattoo. Tenorio pleaded guilty in March to child abuse. The charge stemmed from 2011, when authorities say he tattooed his nephew's arm using rudimentary and unsterilized tools.

Prosecutors say Tenorio had no formal training and he took no precautions to prevent possible infection.

Governor Orji visit FMC Umuahia to sympathize with NANS accident victim

Abia State Governor, Chief Theodore Orji has sympathized with Nigerian students over the death of five executives of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) including the Senate President, Donald Onukaogu in a ghastly motor accident that occurred in Ikwuano, Abia State on their way to Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
The Governor who visited victims of the accident at the Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia where they were receiving treatment described the incident as a calamity and sympathetic.

He cautioned drivers to be careful while on the wheels as well as to maintain a manageable speed, maintaining that many would not have died if they were not on high speed.
The Governor said the incident was disheartening as future leaders of the country have lost their lives through the accident.
Chief Orji used the forum to advise student leaders to embark on negotiation with the authorities before they resort to violence, saying that violence usually ends in catastrophe.

Earlier, while conducting the governor round the doctor on duty at the casualty ward, Dr Kalu said that the accident victims were and the dead were brought in in the morning and were said to have had a head on collision with a lorry at Ikwuano on their way to Uyo, Akwa Ibom state.

He said that apart from the dead, other victims were receiving treatment while some were in stable condition.
In his remark, the coordinator, Zone B of NANS, comrade Chinonso Obasi thanked the governor for sympathizing with them and pledged to be good ambassadors.

German woman flaunts 16-inch waist which she achieved by wearing corsets for 3 years

24 year old Berliner Michele Kobke found a new way of achieving the shape she wants, by wearing a corset every single day for the last three years.

She went from a waist 25 to a waist 16 after wearing the corset continuously even while eating, sleeping, and swimming she told The Daily News. "My dream waist is 15 inches," she said. That would represent a world record for an adult, currently held by Connecticut woman Cathie Jung.

Even as she closes in on her "dream" waist, Kobke admits there are health concerns with such a passion. A doctor already diagnosed her with some muscle atrophy from wearing the fashion piece 24 hours a day.

"I can't imagine to just stop one day," she said in a segment with RTL, a German television channel. "The corsets have become an important part of my life. I just can't imagine."

But aside even from the medical risks, Kobke has had a falling out with family members, who don't agree with the extreme measures she takes for beauty.

"My family's reaction to my tight lacing regimen is quite negative," she told the German TV station. "

They say that I spoil my body. But I would say that smoking and drinking alcohol are actually much worse for you, so corsets may not be healthy, but also not really unhealthy."
