Tale Of 3 Nollywood Actresses At War
Some of the newest names making
waves right now in Nollywood are
Angela Okorie, Colette Orji and
Queeneth Hilbert.
The Trio who seem to have nothing in common except for their talent, drive, beauty and perhaps the hands they have on the knob of the pulse of the movie
industry have had their paths crossed more often than not.
While no evidence exists whether the three beauties have had to jostle for a role, there is more than enough evidence to prove the ladies have fought each other for an award.
In the ongoing Vanguard’s Sexiest in Nollywood public opinion poll, the trio have been engaged in fisticuffs of sorts to make the last ten in the competition. As
at last week, Angela seems to be leading at 5th position but hotly being chased by Colette Orji at 6th. Queeneth, who has had mixed blessing in the run is chasing
hard at 8th place.
As if that is not enough to pitch the
ladies’ wits against one another, Chase Awards nominees were unveiled during the week where their names come up again to battle for the position of the Best
New Actress of the Year. The three of them complete seven-man nominees list which include Titi Oludipe, Tayo Sobola, Mary Remmy and Memunat Yinusa.
Though Chase hasn’t come up with a list of films which earned the actresses the nomination but a good guess may not be
inappropriate.
Colette has said she is particularly fond of ‘Demonic Angel’ a movie which is a sequel to ‘Angel’. Other films she thought might
have put her in the picture include ‘Tears of Vengeance’ or ‘Illuminati’.
For Queeneth, she felt her movie “My Daughter, My Jewel” may be her trump card while Angela fingers no film in particular but the trouble she went through in shooting ‘Widows Cot’, a film
that saw her shaving her hair, may just be her calling card.
Kim and Kanye will have a prenuptial agreement Before Marriage
Kim and Kanye will have a prenuptial agreement before they marry.
From TMZ
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West
have already agreed … they will
keep their assets separate by
drawing up a prenup before they
tie the knot … TMZ has learned.
Multiple sources connected with
the couple tell us … both Kanye
and Kim are committed to the
marriage and they are not
signing a prenup because they’re
worried the relationship might
fall apart. But they’re both
business people and know given
their vast wealth it’s just the
smart thing to do to have a
prenup.
Kim especially understands the
importance of a prenup because
her late father, attorney Robert
Kardashian, told her over and
over about the necessity of
having clear contracts when it
came to money.
We’re also told … even though
they will keep their assets
separate, they will have a fat
joint account for living expenses
that will probably approach the
gross national product of a small
country.
As for how much they have …
some reports place Kim’s wealth
at $40 mil and Kanye’s at $90
mil. But we’re told Kim’s actually
worth more than Kanye.

Miichael Jackson Named Higest-Earning Dead Celebrity
late King of Pop, Michael Jackson, has been named the highest-earning Dead celebrity of 2013.
The singer, who died in 2009 at the age of 50, raked in nearly £99m over the past 12 months, even more than the top living
star, Madonna, who earned a little over £77m.
The Thriller star’s wealth nearly tripledrunner-up Elvis Presley’s £34m on Forbes’annual list of posthumous celebrity wealth. He reclaimed the top spot from
his old friend Dame Elizabeth Taylor, who died in 2011 aged 79.
Much of Jackson’s cash from beyond the grave has come from his two Cirque Du Soleil shows. Immortal grossed an impressive £185m since opening last year
and Las Vegas show One “regularly sells out”, says the magazine.
He also earns a fortune from his half of the lucrative Sony song catalogue, which includes hits by The Beatles, Lady Gaga
and Taylor Swift.
Rounding out the top five is Peanuts creator Charles Schulz ($37 million),Elizabeth Taylor ($25 million) and Bob Marley, who made $18 million.
