Ebola Update !!! Villagers Go on Hunger Strike In Guinea

Hunger strike has begun in Guinea as part of protests against the presence of the country’s military in Wome Village. 20 leaders from the village have set up camp in front of the country’s parliament since the beginning of the strike.
The military occupied the village after eight volunteers who were raising awareness about Ebola were killed by members of the community in September.
However, the security personnel have been accused of human rights abuses which have caused 6,000 people to flee their homes. The military has not issued an official response to the accusations.
The first case of Ebola in the current outbreak was recorded in Guinea in March 2014.
