APC plan to boycott Anambra local government elections

Awka— The All Progressives Congress, (APC) has said that they will not participate at the Anambra local council election that is scheduled to hold on January 11, 2014, according to Vanguard.

 This was made known by the Governorship candidate of the APC, Senator Chris Ngige, while addressing a press conference in Akwa, the Anambra capital.

Ngige said it became necessary for the party to take a position after reviewing the last gubernatorial election.

He accused the state electoral body of supporting the ruling All Progressives Grand Alliance, (APGA).
