First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan has
given her backing for the governorship ambition of former Minister of State for Education, Nyesom Wike, reports Information Nigeria .
The first lady, who visited the former Minister in his Abuja residence on Thursday noted that she
has come to give her blessing to Wike’s ambition to govern Rivers State in 2015.
She noted that Wike as a Minister in her
husband’s cabinet proved himself and should be given a higher responsibility.
She described Wike was a listening and respectful politician who listened to her when she asked him to drop his senatorial aspiration in 2011.
