Edo State government didnt host Dillish, Governor Oshiomhole Did!

So there’s a press statement from Edo State government denying hosting BBA winner, Dillish, last weekend. Well, they kinda have a point…they can say the government didn’t host her, but
Governor Adams Oshiomhole hosted her…and that’s fact! She wasn’t hosted at the government house, but the governor’s private house in Edo state.
Dillish and a few other girls were there on Saturday October 19th (for those wondering why she didn’t make an appearance at Selly’s party in Abuja that
day) and I have the low down of
everything that went down but I will. leave all that out because after all said and done, Gov Oshimhole is a single man.
I can also tell you one thing for free, Dillish gave a condition for accepting the invitation..she would only pay a courtesy visit and nothing more. All parties agreed!
Read the press statement after the cut…

EDO STATE GOVERNMENT DID NOT HOST BBA’S DILLISH.
Our attention has been drawn to a news report in Daily Independent of Friday, October 25, 2013, where one Mr. Eddie Iroh was quoted as expressing displeasure on a rumoured hosting of Dillish, the winner of Big Brother Africa.
In the said report, Eddie Iroh was said to have “condemned the Governor for spending state’s funds so recklessly”.
The report added that “ the likes of
Governors Oshiomhole, Fashola and Dickson who are in the habit of dipping their hands into public funds on such ventures should have known that in civilized climes, such celebrations were funded from the Governors’pockets and
not public funds”. How libelous!
From the above, it is obvious that Mr.
Eddie Iroh is suffering from brain wave. First, it would have been a thing of interest for Edo State Government to host the said BBA winner, Dillish, to justify her well-advertised declaration in
the BBA House that Edo State people are very hospitable. That in itself was a global endorsement that is purely priceless.
Again, if Dillish would agree, as a BBA ambassador, Edo State Government would be willing to host her in future to prove to cynics and naysayers like Eddie
Iroh that Edo State is indeed, not only hospitable, but also a safe haven for those who intend to do legitimate business in
the State. It will be a departure from orchestrated and concocted stories often peddled by jobless people like Eddie Iroh,
who rather than devote their old age to reflect on their absurdities when they called the shots, have now taken to the cyber space for surfing cheap gossip, chit-. chat and unfounded allegations.
To the best of our knowledge, Edo State did not host Dillish in whatever material
particular. This could be verified from the Governor’s daily routines which are usually available for public consumption and can be confirmed from the Protocol
Department of the Governor’s Office or Government House. Mr. Eddie Iroh’s comment is pure hallucination. Eddie Iroh’s story is an open sore that is festered with several incongruities, inanities, ambiguities and failing memory.
He should provide evidence to show that Governor Oshiomhole dips his hands into public funds to host his private visitors or
simply keep his mouth shut. We have gone past the age of Eddie Iroh, an age of those men of yesterday, who abused public institutions they presided over, to
fest their nest at the expense of tax
payers’ money. In Edo State, we are not only accountable to the people; we have also earned their respect and trust. Signed

20 Injured As Rival Youths Clash In Edo

No fewer than 20 persons were on
Friday wounded in a clash between
rival youths at Ikpeshi community in Akoko Edo Local Government Area of Edo.
The clash cropped up following a
disagreement over who should collect levies from vehicle loaders in the community on behalf of the local government council.
Several residents fled from the
community because of the clash, while properties worth millions of naira were destroyed during the conflict.
An eyewitness, Mr Abbe Oboh, said that the crisis started when one faction wanted to take over the collection of levies from the other group.
"The other faction refused and this led to a shootout among the youths,'' he said. Oboh said that the deployment of personnel from the Special Anti-Robbery
Squad (SARS) the state police command, however, aided efforts to bring the situation under control.
Mr Joseph Akerejola, the Chairman of Akoko Edo Local Government Council, said that normalcy had been restored to the area.
"The police are on top of the situation and everything is under control. "The perpetrators of the crisis would, however, be brought to book,'' he vowed.

Deeper Life Pastor Arrested For Raping Little Girls: Another "Pastor" Paraded For Robbery

The Edo State Police Command, Thursday, paraded 32 suspected criminals involved in robbery, kidnapping, cultism, including one Eze Fidelis, a pastor with a Pentecostal church in Abudu, Orhiomnwon Local Government Council, who defiled two underage girls.

Among the suspects were also three rapists and four persons including a woman involved in robbing unsuspecting passengers using commercial vehicles (popularly known as one chance).

The Edo State Police Commissioner, Mr Fun so Adebanjo, who paraded them, yesterday, also displayed cache of arms recovered from the suspects.

CP Adebanjo who said the command had apprehended over 90 suspected robbers and kidnappers in the past one month, lamented rising cases of defilement of minors in the state. He warned residents to be wary of the latest trends whereby people use taxis to rob unsuspecting passengers.

According to him, "today we have 32 suspects that we are parading and they were involved in different crimes, ranging from robbery, kidnapping to cultism and people who are involved in defilement of the girl child. This defilement thing in the state now is disturbing.

We will not allow them to go scot-free. And that is why we continue to appeal to members of the public to always give us useful information because we cannot do it alone.
"But let me also alert members of the public.
There is an emerging crime since the ban on Okada was effected. It is called one chance.

What they do is that they always have a woman among them so that will make people not to suspect them. There is always somebody that claims to be a pastor with them, they will deceive you to say you have a particular problem and they will rob you of everything.

"One of their victims, a lady, had to go to a bank to withdraw N150,000.

""We are going to work with Road Safety and the Board of Internal Revenue so that all vehicles on the road must be registered.

People should shine their eyes very well, they are using some vehicles pretending to be taxi
drivers."

Pastor Fidelis Eze who confessed that he actually defiled one Joy and Anthonia both of them 11 years old, said he was possessed by evil spirit to commit the act.
He said: "I am really ashamed of myself particularly as a pastor.

I have been a pastor at Deeper Life for over six years but I was tempted to defile these girls. They are always visiting me, so this particularly day I defiled both of them."

PHOTO: Gay Pastor Arrested In Edo For Raping With 20-Year-Old Male Church Member

Yesterday, Police in Edo arrested a
pastor identified as Philips Ogbebor, alleged to have had carnal knowledge of a 20-year-old male member of his church (names withheld).

It was revealed that the pastor
threatened to kill his victim if he told anybody about the encounter.
When interview, Ogbebor simply said:

"God will judge, go and talk to others" and kept on mumbling.
The victim narrated his own side of the story;

"I told him I have never done this since I grew up, but he insisted. It was painful and I told him I will not allow it again.

So after the second attempt, I told him I will expose the act. He then
administered an oath on me, saying if I ever told any one, I will die.

"He carried sand and olive oil and poured them on my head, then he wore black garment, saying I will die if I ever leaked the secret.

He killed a black fowl and gave me the liver and gizzard to eat at about 2 a.m., threatening that if I ever said it out, I will die like the fowl.

"But when I realised that it is a sin, I met a man of God to pray for me that God should forgive me and that I am ready to expose it since he forced me.

There after I went to the church and told the congregation about the act. When he heard it, he threatened me by sending his younger brother and members of his gang after me. Since then I have been running."
