Albert Chinụalụmọgụ Achebe popularly known as Chinua Achebe, one of the world’s most celebrated writers and author of the classic novel Things Fall Apart,is dead.
He died last night in a hospital in Boston, Massachusettsat the age of 82 .Professor Achebe had been sick for some time.
He was a Nigerian novelist , poet ,professor , and critic . He is best known for his f novels Things Fall Apart in 1958, which is the most widely read book in modern African literature . His last book, There Was A Country: A Personal History of Biafra, is still making waves.
